EXTRA CREDIT: Hunger Games and Racism

for readers who dont have access to the article here it is http://jezebel.com/5896408/racist-hunger-games-fans-dont-care-how-much-money-the-movie-made

After reading this article numerious times, it really pisses me off the way all of a sudden The Hunger games is racist.. like why cant this stop already, its not a racist book or movie. Just because Rue, Thresh and cinna were black and died.. like all of a sudden its racist because they were black and died. like seriously give me a break. Its Pathetic honestly. Like if black's want this racism to stop then why always saying oh that and this is racist. rue did a great job at her part i dont think anybody could have done it better, white or black. same for Thresh and Cinna. The movie was great, one of the best i have ever seen. Then people have to ruin it by saying all this bullshit about racism, trust me there was no racism intended. it made $155 million dollars in the opening week. this should of not been brough up and who ever brought up this discussion to begin with. shame on them.

BLOG 4: FOCUSING ON A CHARACTER FROM THE HUNGER GAMES!

For my final essay i am asked to be one of the character from the hunger games as if i was them i gotta write about my feelings as that character. really anything that comes to my mind. I decided to choose Katniss Everdeen. I chose Katniss Everdeen because she is my favorite character in the Hunger games and she is the most fierce and this essay can be alot of fun. My plans for this final essay is to act like I'm Katniss from the past, present and also the future. those are my plans for the final essay... I want to accomplish alot more than just a few scenes, i want the reader to vision whats going on in their head.. sort of like what Suzanne Collins did in the Hunger Games. The biggest challenge for me to accomplish this, will be trying to think like Katniss and what Katiniss will do, shes a very complicated girl, to me that's going to be the biggest challenge.

BLOG 1: Notes On Love And Marriage Blog Assignment

In this blog I will discuss the web article Notes On Love And marriage By Michael Vance. I will be discussing Michael Vance's analysis of The Importance Of Being Earnest. Michael Vance was able to explain the importance of love and marriage and make it interesting as well. The way that Vance used a large amount of quotes from The Importance of Being Earnest was a good way to pronounce The highlighted moments of the book for those who have not read it. I found it humorous when Vance was talking about Marriage and he said " As uncertainty is the basis for romance, once marriage is proposed, romance ends" i found that statement very humorous. I personally don't know how true it is due to the fact that i have never been married. I have always been told marriage will only make a relationship stronger. He also discussed a little bit about Oscar Wilde and how he was able to write such a prestigious book. There are two key terms that catch my eye. One of the key terms are Satire. The other key term is Pity, those  two words Satire and Pity to me are the key terms of this article. Satire in my own words is means the use of humor, irony and even exaggeration, which is why it dials to be such a important term in "The Importance Of Being Earnest" and in this article. Pity in my own words means being sympathetic towards one another.  I hope my Evaluation of the article Notes On Love And Marriage by Michael Vance was helpful to you.
